Still Standing

This old house was built by mans hands, but God has kept it standing all these years.  While it is neither fancy or beautiful in the worlds eyes we that worship God here see it in a totally different way then the world does.  To us it is just perfect.

Wisdom of the ages

These three ladies represent what God intended for us to be.  They have raised their families and endured the trials of this world.  Although two of them are no longer with us what they left behind is still living in many of us.

    Send Us Your Prayer Requests!

Recently we received a letter from a lady in Houston Tx. requesting prayer for herself and her family.  There was no name on the letter and no return address; only a postmark.  This served to remind us that there are many people out there who need prayer and have no home church or pastor to turn to.  We don't need to know the details of your life.  God knows all there is to know about you.  We simply want to offer our church as a place where you can send your prayers and know for sure they will be heard.

There are no strings attached.  We are not asking for donations or promising you any fame or fortune in return.  What we offer is an opportunity for your prayers to be brought before God by His people.  Our reward is that in doing so there is a chance you will see God working in your life and find your own salvation.  Our desire is to see lost souls saved and saints revived in their faith.  So feel free to contact us with any prayer requests your may have.  Simply click HERE for our address or to send us an email.

Be of Good Cheer!

Revelation 21

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Our promise is not here its, in the life after this. We have troubles here, we have pain, we have sorrow here. But if we live for Jesus we are going to lay it all down one day.

Let me Share the Good News!

"Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day; and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high" (Luke 24:46-49 ).

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" (Acts 1:8 ).

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:38 ).

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 )

"As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed" (Galatians 1:9 ).

"And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone" (Ephesians 2:20 ).

"As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine" (I Timothy 1:3).

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (II Timothy 3:16).

One Accord

Why is it important that the entire body of a church truly be in one accord and what does this really mean? Being in one accord simply means to have a single purpose and to be in full agreement on that purpose. The bible tells us we do not serve a God of confusion. Our God is looking for a people that likewise are not confused about who they serve.  We need to be grounded in our faith and focused on what we believe and who we serve.

Not for Sale

And He said to them,Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

(Mk 16:15-18)

For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ. (2 Cor 2:17 )

Freely you have received, freely give. (Mt 10:8)

Buy the truth, and do not sell it, Also wisdom and instruction and understanding. (Pro 23:23
